Economic recovery hits the skids - Only a few more than 100,000 jobs added in June (Yes, 2,000 jobs per state..), which is opposite the trend of a recovering economy. Also noteworthy - May job stats are revised to show lower gains in May, unemployment rate continues at 5.6%, and fewer jobs were created than the number needed to absorb newly available workers at the end of an academic year. The oil spike could have something to do with it - another possibility is that the economy's strength has been overhyped for quite some time.
